MOTD's (Short for MessageOfTheDay) Are A Text that will appear on your server when adding it to the server list. People Mostly call them Descriptions of a Server

To Change Your Servers MOTD you can Use these Two Methods

Method 1: Using plugins.

You Need A Server Version For This That Supports The Use Of Plugins.

1. Download The Plugin MOTD, one of the most popular Plugins for changing your server's MOTD.

2. Open Up The Panel And Go To The Server Files

3. ."Find and open The folder "Plugins

4. Upload the MOTD PLUGIN and Restart/Start your Server

5. When you start it you should see your Server's MOTD Has Been Changed to a colorful one.

To Configure this Again go to the Plugins tab that you were on, and You'll see a new folder has Popped up, Open it, you'll see a config.yml

Open it and you can change it from there

Method 2: Using MCTools

This one doesnt need a specific server.

1. Open the MCTools Website.

2. Configure the IN-WEB MOTD Editor

3. Copy the generated Code.

Now Go to your server's main folder.

Find and click on server.properties And find MOTD=

Paste the Code The web gave you.

You now have a very cool looking MOTD!
